Switch Up the Characters: Week 4 - Setting the Record Straight

My fourth week as a student has been full of unexpected turns, starting with a surprisingly true look at my family dynamic. I'm turning over a new leaf and embracing my journey.
I visited what’s known as "The Vault" at the Division of Administration and Finance. That's right—I'm working on navigating all this AI, and by AI, I mean Adobe Illustrator. I’ve always been and always will be an artist; design just added a spark to the flame. College has been a real journey!
In an effort to practice politeness, I’ve been reading a chapter on "The Way of the Samurai." I’ve given myself the discipline of reading about the philosophy of Japanese culture. As an adult with a blerd (black nerd) background, I'm finding new morality that will be essential as I embark on another adventure. I have an opportunity to be an intern for the Driving Force Automotive Internship at the Fine and Performing Arts Center, if selected. I also picked up a flyer for the BSU Women's Intramurals Basketball League.
MazoAnimate
I’m working on animations I'm calling "MazoAnimate," using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Animate for 2D animation. I’ve been getting into the nerdy strategy of improving Bowie State’s campus. As a full-time student, I've also been exploring how people around the world can tell their stories through art and culture. You can learn so much from the power of art.
Get ready for Cyber Torch, an animated series inspired by nature around Bowie State University. It's bringing me back to my childhood watching Cartoon Network while wearing sweats.
Game Night
I also attended a game night hosted by my brothers of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship. They made it a true boys' night out with games like Connect 4 and Uno. We bonded over adulting at Bowie State, the campus with the first fraternal organization. I also got to spend some time on "Jeep Way." The night was full of southern songs and the fun of being the second-to-last person to yell "Uno!"
On a side note, maybe I do like pink.
I'm facing the challenge of balancing my studious side with my creative side. It can be hard, but as Lady Gaga says, "Rain on Me."
I’m learning that women and men can actually get along on campus. I apologize if my tone was off, but it's been a fun ride, and now I'm listening to "These What Abouts" by Bebe & Cece Winans. I was surprisingly enjoying their duo.
Good night.
