The View from 13/13: Lessons in Value and Vision

There’s a specific kind of clarity that comes when you’re dealing with "13/13 vision"—a perspective that’s been through the wars, seen the damage, and come out the other side with a sharper focus. Lately, I’ve heard some whispers from people trying to pocket-watch, claiming I "couldn't afford $100."

Let’s set the record straight: I just cleared my first paycheck since December 2025. This isn't about the money; it’s about the growth.

Don’t Invest in Misery

If there is one thing this journey has taught me, it’s where not to put my resources. With these hard-earned funds, I’ve realized a fundamental truth: Do not invest in miserable people. Misery doesn't just love company; it consumes it. When you pour your energy, time, or finances into people who are committed to their own negativity, you aren't helping them—you’re just draining yourself.

The start of 2026 has been a masterclass in the unexpected. It has hit me with curveballs in the most random ways, proving that life doesn't always give you a heads-up before it changes the game.

The Takeaway

To those watching from the sidelines: don't confuse a season of silence with a lack of success. I’m moving with intention now. When your vision is 13/13, you see the traps before you step in them, and you learn that the best investment you can ever make is in your own peace of mind.

2026 is just getting started, and so am I.
