Embodied perfectly by this spirit is a recent initiative led by Bowie State's own Adobe Student Ambassadors, who dedicated their time and resources to support individuals experiencing homelessness in nearby Washington, D.C. The Adobe Student Ambassador program on campus champions digital literacy and empowers students to become creative leaders. However, leadership also means recognizing needs within our community and taking action. I’m a bold , bold, bold person. That’s just who I am. Does it mean I jump to conclusions sometimes? Yeah, I can own that. But the core of me, especially when it comes to people I know and care about, is always trying to figure out where things clash so we can fix it. My go-to is pretty much: "Yo, how can we make this right?" Stepping into new roles at 22 feels... strange sometimes. Like I'm navigating a whole new landscape. As a Haitian, non-binary person, I know I'm bringing a unique perspective and making contributions, but navigating that, especially the idea of networking while potentially being misunderstood – it’s a process. Sometimes I pause and think, "Why didn't I understand that sooner?" or "Why didn't I know?" But that's part of growth, right?...
